Every year at Notre Dame we have an annual Balsa Bridge Contest for those students currently in Physics 11 and 12. Each student must build a bridge that is able to support a certain amount of weight and must also make it look very presentable and durable.

Vancouver is a city of many interesting bridges. Here's my favorite:

recently i have downloaded Visual C++ on my home computer. once exams are finished we are going to work on the first assignment called "Hello World".

Computer Disassembly

During the month of December we were able to take apart a Compaq comptuer. Once we were supplied with the computer we were also handed a set of tools that were used to take apart the comptuer. After recieving all tools we printed out a list of things that were supposed to be taken out of the comptuer such as, the motherboard, CPU cooling fans, RAM, CD-ROM, and etc...after taking out all the parts that were included within the list we had to some how put the computer back together. My partner and I had some troubles remembering where some of the parts belonged and how to put it back. However, once we figured out where all the obvious parts went the rest was very easy. We also had to see if the computer worked after putting the comptuer back together. After the experience i had with taking apart a computer, I now know what parts do what within a computer. Before all i knew was how to turn it on hahahha.
